Suspected cultists have killed three persons in Egbeh community in Ubie kingdom, Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State.
It was gathered that the cultists said to be loyal to one General ‘Danger’, invaded the community on Monday, December 4, 2023, and abducted the three victims, including a woman.
Sources in the community said the corpses of the three abductees were found along the Egbeh and Ebiriba Road area of Ubie Kingdom later in the day.
According to Punch, before the incident, the two deceased male victims reportedly quarreled with a woman said to be the mother of General ‘Danger’ and she vowed to deal with them.
General Danger is said to be the leader of the Iceland cult group in the area.
It was further learnt that the lady who was abducted alongside the two males was a girlfriend to one of the males, while the woman said to be the mother of General ‘Danger’ had fled the community.
Shortly after they were whisked away by the hoodlums, there was pandemonium in the community as the natives raised the alarm leading to a search.
“We started searching to know where the boys took the three people to. We started hearing gunshots between Egbeh and Ebiriba Road. Later when community people went there, they saw the bodies of the three people that these bad boys have killed,” a source told the publication.
