Robbery Attack Claims Lives Of CBN Staff And Customers In Abuja Supermarket

A harrowing incident unfolded at Abdullahi Supermarket near Mararaba in One Man Village as suspected armed robbers unleashed terror on Tuesday evening, claiming the lives of four customers, including a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) staff member.

Daniel Adefemi Okunade, an identified CBN employee and choir master at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in One Man Village, tragically lost his life after being shot in the head during the robbery. Three other customers were also brutally killed, yet remained unidentified at the time of reporting.

Despite the chaos, the robbers left Okunade’s Toyota Venza car untouched while perpetrating the heinous act. Reportedly returning from work, Okunade encountered the fatal attack, leaving the community in shock and grief.

As tension gripped the area, locals and concerned individuals flocked to the supermarket to identify the victims. Police from New Nyayan Divisional Police Station transported the victims’ bodies to Mararaba Medical Center mortuary while investigations into the incident continue.
