A 41-year-old woman, Chioneso Ephrame, lost her life at the hands of her 50-year-old husband, Bwanali Bwanado, after he discovered her in their bedroom with another man.
The horrifying incident occurred on November 7, 2023, at their residence in Gadzema, Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwean police issued a statement detailing the gruesome events, stating that an enraged Bwanali came upon the distressing scene and, in a fit of anger, used an okapi knife to ruthlessly stab his wife.
The motive behind the violent act remains a subject of investigation.

After committing the heinous act, Bwanali reportedly contacted Chioneso’s mother and callously confessed to the murder.
The relative recounted, “Bwanali Bwanado called granny, the deceased woman’s mother, and he said, ‘I have stabbed your daughter to death. I have left, and you’ll never see me again.’
“Chioneso Ephrame tragically succumbed to her injuries at Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital, leaving family and community members in shock and grief.
Zimbabwean authorities are actively seeking Bwanali Bwanado in connection with the murder, appealing for any information that may lead to his arrest.
