In preparation for the upcoming local government elections in Akwa Ibom State, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has successfully conducted its primaries, nominating 31 chairmanship and 368 councillorship candidates through a notably peaceful and fair process.
Governor Umo Eno, who participated in the primaries in Nsit Ubium, attributed the success to the peace and stability in the state, crediting his administration’s policies and the people’s cooperation.
He congratulated the nominees and urged them to uphold the democrati values of the PDP and contribute to community development as outlined in his ARISE Agenda.

Notable figures like the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, and Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong, highlighted the effective leadership and organization of the PDP, reiterating their support for Governor Eno’s initiatives.
