One of the protesters in Lagos state has stated that he will continue to show up at the protest venue until the desired result is achieved.
He made the statement in a viral video that was shared on the official X handle of The Guardian.
The protester made the statement after he claimed that some thugs harassed him at the venue of their protest.
He said at this point, he doesn’t care and he will continue to show up. He said if he is killed by the thugs, there are one million protesters like him out there that will fight for the country.
According to him:
“I came here this morning to exercise my civil rights but the truth of the matter is that I am disappointed in our government because I know all these are their handwork. A million of them ( thugs) can’t stop me from exercising my civil rights. Indomitable Protester Defies Threats

“I will continue to attend these protests until our demands are met. Even if they kill me, there are a million more like me ready to fight for our country. Let them bring their thugs; I am not afraid.”
The protester’s defiance stems from his belief that the government is behind the attacks on peaceful demonstrators. He expressed disappointment in the authorities and vowed to continue exercising his constitutional rights.
“I came here to exercise my civil rights, but our government is a disgrace. They are behind this violence, but a million thugs cannot stop us. I will be back here tomorrow, and I urge others to join us. Together, we will fight for a better future for our country.”
