The grieving family of Deborah Fawolere, a three-month pregnant mother of six who passed away at Gbagada General Hospital, is accusing her husband, Idowu Fawolere, of playing a role in her demise. Toluwalase Adedoyin, the late woman’s sister, alleged that Idowu physically assaulted Deborah, even during her pregnancy with their seventh child. Although Idowu denied the claims, Adedoyin asserted that her sister had left Idowu’s house multiple times due to reported incidents of violence.
“My younger sister died this morning. The husband had been beating her before she died today. He used to beat her up. We believe the physical assault caused damage to her health, considering her condition. She had given birth to six children for this man. This was her seventh pregnancy before she died.
