President Bola Tinubu has removed Jalal Arabi as the Executive Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and appointed Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman as his successor.
Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale announced the change, noting that Professor Usman is a distinguished scholar with academic credentials from the University of Madinah and Peshawar University in Pakistan. Ngelale added that Professor Usman’s appointment is subject to Senate confirmation. President Tinubu expects the new NAHCON Chairman to perform his duties with integrity, transparency, and a strong commitment to the nation.
